Saturn VUE Green Line Hybrid Review: 2008 Saturn VUE Green Line Hybrid

The FWD 4 cylinder 2008 Saturn VUE Green Line Hybrid is launched this year, offering variety for the customer who wants good styling and reasonably good performance for everyday travel. The highlight of this particular model is its miles per gallon performance, the highest among all sports utility models in the market today. This hybrid Green line car achieves 25 mpg on the average city roads and gets you about 32 miles/gallon on the highways. The car has more surprises for the customer. It is the most affordable hybrid model in the market. Considering the excellent mileage and reasonable cost, the car is definitely worth all your attention.

While the focus of this model is on going green, the manufacturers assure buyers that the car does not compromise on design and performance in any way. Be it safety, convenience or comfort, the car makers claim to have thought about all in the new Green Line Saturn VUE hybrid. If you compare the car’s mileage to other non hybrid models, you will see that the Green Line FWD achieves a 27% better performance. Its fuel economy is certainly great. Fuel cut off is quick during deceleration. The aerodynamics is really good. The modified automatic transmission is easy to manage. The shift control for transmission rates well. There is precision control and the safety feature score well too. Display panels guide the driver regarding many points. The driver information center, the auto stop with the tachometer, the eco light that turns on when fuel economy rating is crossed, the charge/assist gauge and others make for an excellent instrument panel.

Excellent OnStar Telematics, StabiliTrak electronic stability control, airbags, Pedal release mechanism, tire pressure monitors, antilock brakes and front head restraints make this car very safe indeed. Regenerative braking and electrical power assist are all highlights of this model. The stabilizer brakes make for some neat handling and the steering control and automatic climate control is also satisfactory. Good traction in this front wheel driven SUV impress. The stylish alloy wheels and neat exteriors make this car appealing on the eyes. This Hybrid-electric car is one good surprise from General Motors, and the pricing is pretty.
