Subaru Forester Review: Testing the New Subaru Forester

A very tall wagon, the New Subaru Forester is a four-door five-passenger car, which comes in six trims. With an excellent acceleration and top class driving, the New Subaru Forester is a great experience in driving.
Ranging from 2.5 X models to the 2.5 XT Ltd trims, the New Subaru Forester is a style on the roads. All the New Subaru Forester trims comes with a standard 2.5 litre H4 engine. While the New Subaru Forester 2.5 X comes with a 173 horse power turbo engine, the New Subaru Forester 2.5 XT Limited is equipped with 224 horse power engine. All the six trims come with a five-speed transmission and 4 speed automatic transmission is optional. However, the more powerful New Subaru Forester are the Sports 2.5 XT and XT Limited, which runs on turbocharged engine.
A 4 wheel independent suspension system is standard with all New Subaru Forester cars. The ventilated brakes in the front wheel and the drum brakes in the rear give a safe braking system for the New Subaru Forester 2.5 X & Sports 2.5 X. Meanwhile the New Subaru Forester 2.5 into L.L. Bean Edition, XT Limited & Sports XT has ventilated/disc front faced braking system. Another added feature of the braking system with all the New Subaru Foresters is the Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Daytime running lights and anti-lock brakes.
You can have a great New Subaru Forester drive with the full-time Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. For great safety, the most powerful Sports 2.5 XT has Variable Torque Distribution, Dynamics Control systems and Traction Control. The manual transmission trims also have a Hill Holder feature that prevents rollbacks.
The exterior has a grand look with great lining and finishing. Just like the exterior, the interiors are also attractive. The dashboard has got a new look with new style and the controls are so easy to operate. For long drives, the New Subaru Forester is the best choice as the front seats have larger room space. There is good headroom space also. The seats are also well upholstered with top class leather.
The New Subaru Forester 2.5 X comes with an adjustable six-way driver’s seat and an adjustable four-way front-passenger seat. While the New Subaru Forester 2.5 X L.L. Bean models has an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat. The New Subaru Forester 2.5 X features include driver side lumbar support and power windows, where as the Sports 2.5 X has additional features like vanity mirrors, map lights and automatic climate control. The air bags and collapsible steering column gives more safety.  Well, all the trims are equipped with seven speaker audio system, CD changer and MP3 players.
