Mitsubishi Raider Review: new Mitsubishi Raider a legacy in making

The is a compact pickup vehicle which can seat 6 passengers, comes in four trims and has four doors. The trims are ranging from Extended Cab (2WD MT) up to the V6 LS Double Cab (4WD). The Extended Cab is fitted with a 3.7 liter standard, 210 HP, V6 engine which can reach 16 mpg during a city drive and while driving it can reach 20mpg. There is a standard 6 speed overdrive manual transmission. The Double Cab is fitted with a 3.7 liter standard V6 engine that has a horsepower of 210 and a city mpg of 14, while the highway mpg is 18. The automatic transmission is a standard 4 speed overdrive. The present model of the Mitsubishi is adjourning from the earlier 2007 one.  

The interiors and exteriors of the Raider

The styling of the interior of the Raider offers seating comfort and is distinctive. The cockpit is more like that of a car than a truck. The interiors are also noise proof as the noise from the road does not carry and the cruise is smooth and silent. The seating capacity of the Raider for the extended cab is for 6 persons with 3 on the front bench and 3 on the on the rear bench. The front bench is very spacious with plenty of leg room for the passengers. The jump seats and rear seats are not as roomy as the front ones.

The LS is fitted with V6 power, air-conditioning and tinted glass, power door and window locks, titling steering column and cruise control, keyless entry and the cockpit is standard but comfortable. The interiors are also equipped with AM/FM CD player with 4 speakers, MP3 player and AM/ FM with auxiliary input, cruise control, front floor mats are carpeted, dual vanity mirrors are illuminated, split bench seats in cloth, power windows and locks with keyless entry.

 

The exteriors has a rugged look with many comfortable features like sliding rear window, privacy glass in the rear, power mirrors, fog lamps, tailgates with dual positions, the front grill is body color and so is the molding of the body side.  

The Safety equipment of the Raider

Like all the other features the safety equipment has also been fitted with the foremost thought being the comfort and safety of the passengers. There is an ABS, all occupants have 3 point seatbelts, airbags for the front passenger and driver, seatbelts and pretentioners for the front seats, front seat belts are height adjustable, seat sensors for occupants and the LATCH system.
