Ford Mustang brings about eight different trims in its 2008 launch. The coupes and the convertibles are GT and come as premium or deluxe models. Every trim is certainly worth the dollars you pay. The iconic Mustang is back with subtle improvements that add to its class. The 2008 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe four-seater Convertible is a good performance car which promises comfort and fun along with some really nice styling.
This rear wheel driven Deluxe convertible is a four seater comfortable car which is ideal for the office-goer as well as the fun loving youngster. The engine hums into life to perform with a power of 300 hp for 5750 rpm. The car offers a smooth drive but could do much better. The v8, 24 valve, 4.6 liter engine is good on city roads as well as the highways where high speed is the norm. The car is generous with the miles-per-gallon output, ranging anywhere from 15 to 23 mpg from the city roads over to the highways. The Tremec 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive excels expectations while the optional automatic 5 speed transmission is just as good, if not better.
The homogeneous lighting system is good with illuminated entry. The sound system is okay with a radio and CD player and optional Shaker. The car comes in several exciting colors like torch red, candy apple red along with other standard colors and an optional metallic finish, both for the exterior finish and the convertible soft top. Options for this car include Ambient lighting package, Engine Block Heater, Shaker sound system and Sirius satellite radio, bucket leather seats, Prep, Sport and GT Appearance and Exterior Upgrade package for an extra few hundred dollars.
