<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">The Japanese car-maker Mazda has always  been famous for its unique designs and the exciting sports models that  may not be the best, but are ideal for routine commuting and some fun  alongside, at affordable rates. The cars have gained popularity across  the United States, with several customers voting for the speed, performance  and compact designs that rivals do not often match up to. </font><br />
<font face="Tahoma" size="2">Though not a high-end sophisticated  luxury vehicle, this sports utility vehicle is friendly enough for regular  driving and some excitement in-between. The car has nothing so fancy  to talk about, yet you will find yourself very comfortable driving the  car. It is easy to use and feels comfortable when you are seated within.  The car delivers what it promises, nothing more and nothing less. But  it does its job well. The coupes especially are very famous for their light weight, neat pricing and good speeds, characteristics that few rivals have been able to match up to, consistently. The brand new <strong>2008 Mazda RX-8</strong> is a four door boon on wheels, according to some. Let us find out if it scores well in all aspects, like handling, performance, safety and styling.</p>
<p>The rotary engine is the highlight of this sports coupe and the naming itself is representative:  renesis. ‘R’ &amp; ‘e’ represent rotary engine of course, while the word itself is derived from ‘genesis’. The engine certainly has an unusual but Cool name, and with some really good revving, the 1.3 liter engine gets ready for a great performance. The engine design provides for better fuel economy than its predecessors, with less emission and greater power being the other plus points. The front and rear distribution of weight is an enviable 50-50, mainly due to the small engine. Suspension is better in this car compared to some predecessors. The car offers a fuel economy of 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.</p>
<p>The short shifts really get you connected with the car, with its 6 speed manual transmission. Best experienced on curving roads, the coupe is reasonably good but not the speed demon you might expect. As far as styling is concerned, the exterior is a sleek, standard-looking style, but the four-door design is a new feature. Interiors in this car are okay, though nothing very cozy. There is rear space for adults, but just enough for a comfortable short drive. Of course, slightly big child seats can be accommodated. There are options for luxury packages like leather upholstery. The special edition Shinka package is another one you could try. Overall, a reasonably good car.</p>

<p>Though not the ultimate small car, this car does perform well. The ride is smooth and energetic. The engine is not the best but the car is certainly a performer on most roads. The exterior is very sleek and stylish and one is impressed with the car from outside. Within, the car feels okay but taller people might be inconvenienced. The car dynamics are good, the interiors are well-designed though not too spacious. The practical car also scores on fuel economy. Overall, at least an 8 on 10 for the prim and proper aura the car radiates.</p>
<p><strong>Engine</strong>: 3 out of 5….. the engine is quite powerful for a small car of this type, and rides are fun though not totally adventurous.<br />

In all, the car rates at least 8.5 on 10 for all-round performance and comfort.</p>
<p>The all wheel driven trim is cool if you are driving on slippery roads. The car comes with the option of having a tow package for towing up to 2000 pounds. This apart, the roomy Mazda SUV can easily seat 7 adults and the car is really spacious, though the cargo could do with some room. The 3 rows provide ample seating for a family outing. As for the performance, the car is really responsive and the engine delivers, though not quite. The drive can be smooth in most conditions and the fuel economy also pretty okay.</p>
<p>The crossover car looks great undoubtedly, and can make a great alternative to a minivan. Although the pricing is slightly high, the car is good in most areas especially safety-wise. Get the car if you want bulk and style!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">Truck models are also quite popular  across the United States of America, and there have been several different  truck models vying to gain popularity over the years, right from the  60s to the present. The Mazda B series range of trucks is slightly different  from your run-of-the-mill trucks. It has been compact since the first  model till the present 3 unique trims. This series could actually pass  as a Ford Ranger series for all trims. From the 90’s to the present  date, the Mazda trucks have upheld the concept of compact trucks.</font></p>
<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">The Mazda design has already been used  on Ford cars in the 70’s. The two giants then came together in the  nineties to come up with a powerful yet compact truck that provided  good pickup and easy driving. This new launch sees all the trims with  quite unique styles, unlike earlier. Fuel mileage is a plus point for  this truck that can be easily maneuvered and is a blessing at cramped  parking lots where other trucks cannot fit. This hugely popular B series  truck is still quite a good competitor in the truck segment, but is  slightly outdated in interiors and navigation system and a few other  aspects. If you are looking to buy a truck, then get this compact B  series truck simply for its fuel economy, easy handling and reasonably  good performance.</font></p>
<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">The trucks are all quite powerful with  good braking, even though they are simply short of several other features  found commonly among all rival models. Get the B4000 if you want good  towing capacity. else go for the B2300 for excellent fuel economy. The  trims give up to 21-miles per gallon in the city and 26 mpg on highways.  Safety, transmission, interiors and styling have improved this time  round.</font></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Mazda&#8217;s 3 in its various guises has become the car of choice for many people. We now take a look at the exciting all new Mazda 2008 MZR-CD Diesel.</strong></p>
<p>The <a href="http://cars.gov-auctions.org/category/mazda">Mazda</a> 3 has become one of the sucess stories of small passengr cars world over the past few years.</p>
<p>Now in its second generation, sales of the Mazda 3 continue to bubble along quite nicely. And there is a good reason. It is practical, comfortable, offers solid performance and economy and there are design cues to tickle everyone&#8217;s fancy in both the hatch and the Sedan Variants.</p>
<p>Moreover the upgraded 3 picks up on one of the biggest faults of the first generation by taming a lot of road noise and making the cabin that bit quiter. And now Mazda has given the 3 a diesel engine in its pursuit to cash in on the small car market for oil burning engines.</p>
<p>To look at , there is small difference between the petrol and diesel variants save for the engine code MZR-CD &#8211; plastered on the sides. Inside the cabin is no different to the petrol, with the same stylish and ergonomic cabin layout.</p>
<p>By our reckoning, the diesel version is good for anywhere between 900 km and 1000km from a tankful depending on driving conditions, whereas as tankful from the petrol engine in nomal weekday use lasts for about 600 kms.</p>
<p>The Mazda3 diesel, like the Astra oilburner, lets you know what it is, clattering away at idle and sounding more like a working truck than an in-vougue passenger car.</p>
<p>The 2-litre diesel it shares with the bigger Mazda 6 alternative is heavier than the petrol version by a whopping 145 kg. Performance is blunted to some degree as it is not nearly as nimble to top corners, but then again how many people are going to be driving like a tarmac rally car?</p>
<p>There is not a lot of oomph down from this 105kw and 360MN motor.</p>
<p>While the torque spread is reasonably broad, the diesel starts to cook along from about 2500rpm when it really hits a sweet spot. The big differencein drivability compared with the petrol is the effortless way it pulls and pulls at highway speeds. You don&#8217;t need to change any gears as much and everything feels just that much more robust.</p>
<p>The level of twist is almost on par with with the superquick Mazda turbo MPS petrol hatch. The other point of difference is that the diesel gets a six-speed manual transmission compared with a five speed in the petrol. Bad news for some: there is no auto.</p>
<p><strong>Mazda 3 diesel</strong></p>
<p><strong>Engine: 3 out of 5&#8230;..</strong> There is no-one home down low but the party starts happening big time from about 2,500 rpm.</p>
<p><strong>Transmission: 3 out of 5&#8230;.</strong> The Six Speed manual offers sweet shifts and a delightfully flexible third gear.</p>
<p><strong>Handling: 3 out of 5</strong>&#8230; There is more weight in the nose so it is not as sharp as the petrol however there are no obvious disadvantages.</p>
<p><strong>Safety: 3 out of 5</strong> &#8230; Dynamic stability Control ccomes as standard.</p>
<p><strong>Value 3 out of 5..</strong> Diesels are more expensive than petrol maybe too much more for the smaller car segment</p>
